The Distant Ship

 

    This is one of the first photos I shot when my wife and I had gotten to Carlsbad, CA for our honeymoon. 

    We had finally gotten settled into our room on the second floor and I stepped out to take in the ocean breeze. As I looked out on the ocean, I saw this ship floating on the horizon right between two palm trees. 

   

    It's moments like these that I'm glad that I always have my camera near by. I ran inside, grabbed my Canon 90d, through my telephoto on, and got the shot!
