The Thoughts

    This is another one of my favorite shots from Carlsbad, CA. Technically this is in Oceanside, CA on the Oceanside pier.

    We were sitting on a bench overlooking the ocean as the sun was setting when I saw this guy leaned against the railing with his headphones on, also watching the sunset. 

    Though this scene looks calm, there was actually quite a lot of busy people outside this shot, which is the reason I got it in the first place. He was sitting there and couldn't hear any of the bustle, just relaxed as could be. 

    I feel like no one can truly relax anymore. Even when we do have time to take a break, the phones come out and we hop onto some of the busiest style of social media we've ever had. 

    Slow down. Enjoy the moment. Enjoy the people you have with you in that moment.
